    Load Shedding Chaos

    By Dickon Jayes | Distribution | Comments are Closed | 14 February, 2019 | 0

Load shedding is once again a ‘thing’ in South Africa. Swathes of the country are without power. Traffic is horrendous and children of all ages have lost access to Netflix and whatever else the cool kids are doing online these days.

Having said that I am pleased to say that iSizwe Distributors’ UPS systems are operating as intended. All our systems remain operational. We have access to e-mails, the internet and of course exciting things like printers and scanners are also working.

We can even make a cup of coffee (we have a gas stove and can boil a kettle or even do a stove top espresso in a cefetiere)…

So, please be assured our operations remain largely unaffected (yes, some of us do run mostly on caffeine and sucrose) and we will do what we need to do to get your publications out on time.

We would also like to extend an invitation to any of our clients who may be passing by in Jozi’s wet weather. Please pop in, have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate (or even tea, if you must) to sustain you as you battle your way through the next chapter of Jozi’s weather and load shedding induced grid-lock.

coffee, distribution, espresso, loadshedding, magazine, publication, ups
